Displaying ADefHelpDesk in different languages for your users
First, check the download page on ADefHelpDesk.com to see if there are already "language packs" available for the language and version of ADefHelpDesk that you are running. You will be able to simply upload the language pack rather than creating the translation yourself.
This example uses DotNetNuke version 04.09.04.
Create Translations
The first step is to install ADefHelpDesk as you normally would.
Next, log in as the Host account, and from the Host menu, select Languages.
Select a Language and click Add.
Click the Language Editor link.
in the Language Editor tree, navigate to a ADefHelpDesk page you want to translate (for example Local Resources\DesktopModules\ADefHelpDesk\App_LocalResources\View.ascx) and click on the file.
Next, select the language in the Available Locales drop down.
Enter translations and click Update at the bottom of the page.
When your users visit your site, they will now see flags that they can click on to see your DotNetNuke site in the language of their choice.
ADefHelpDesk will display the content in the appropriate language.
