    Is it posible to authenticate usrr with ldap,
    Also get role of user from active directory?

    You can alter the LoginController (https://github.com/ADefWebserver/ADefHelpDesk/blob/master/ADefHelpDeskApp/Controllers/WebApi/LoginController.cs) to implement any custom authentication such a LDAP.

    However, the recommended method is to integrate ADefHelpDesk into an application that the user is already authenticated into (such as an employee portal) by calling the API (see: http://lightswitchhelpweb...ploading-Files.aspx)

    The negative of that approach is you would have to reproduce most of the functionality in ADefHelpDesk like creating their accounts and allowing them to see the status of their tickets.

    However, in "most" cases you only need to allow people to submit tickets. They can get the status through the existing email notifications.

    So it is the users that administrate the tickets that *need* to log into ADefHelpDesk.
